Who we are
Crystal Solace is an independent publisher that runs the website crystalsolace.com. We publish practical, no-hype crystal guides — how to choose stones, verify real crystals, and care for them. We are not a medical provider, and our guides never treat spiritual or healing claims as medical fact. If you have any question about this policy, email us at support@crystalsolace.com.
What we collect
We keep the collection small on purpose:
- Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter or leave your email to be notified when the collection launches. It is stored in our own Cloudflare-hosted database, not in a third-party mailing list, and you can have it deleted at any time.
- Abuse signals — when you subscribe, we also store a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. These are used only to block automated signups; the raw IP address is never written to our database.
- Messages — anything you send through our contact form or by email.
- Order information — name, shipping address and payment details, only once our store is live and you place an order.
- Basic usage data — anonymous analytics (which pages are viewed), used only to understand what content helps people.
How we use your information
- To send you the newsletter and launch updates you asked for.
- To reply to your questions.
- To process and deliver orders, once the store is live.
- To improve the site based on what visitors actually read.
We do not sell your data. We do not rent your data. We do not use advertising trackers.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set advertising cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, sets security cookies that keep the site safe, and we store no personal data in your browser beyond what is needed for the site to function.
Third parties
- Cloudflare — hosting, security, CDN and anonymous, cookie-less traffic statistics (which pages are viewed). Their privacy policy applies to their part.
- Stripe — payment processing, once payments are enabled. Stripe handles card data; we never see or store your card number.
- Google Fonts — font loading; this does not collect personal data about you.
- Email service — used to deliver the newsletter you subscribe to.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time — just email support@crystalsolace.com. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click. If you are in the EU, you have the additional rights granted by the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
Our site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will also be announced in the newsletter.
